AceMoney Cloud

When AceMoney Cloud ends

Last updated

Whether AceMoney Cloud ends because you cancelled, or because a renewal payment failed, the same things happen.

If a renewal payment fails

AceMoney Cloud keeps working for 15 days while the payment is tried again. If it still fails, your subscription ends the same way a cancelled one does, below.

When it ends

  • Sync stops, and your bank connections are disconnected.
  • Nothing on your devices is touched — your imported transactions (and, from AceMoney Receipts 2.0, your Filing Cabinet) and everything else already on a device stay exactly where they are.
  • An AceMoney Studio license you have bought is unaffected.
  • The Receipts Pro and Mileage plan features that came with AceMoney Cloud end, unless you have them from their own subscription.
  • Your synced copy (and, from AceMoney Receipts 2.0, your Filing Cabinet) stays available to restore for 12 months. Subscribe again within that time and you pick up where you left off. We e-mail you a month before we delete it.

Common questions

Will I lose what’s already on my phone or computer?

No. Ending AceMoney Cloud never removes anything already on a device — only future sync and bank feeds stop.

Can I get my synced data back if I resubscribe?

Yes, within 12 months of the subscription ending — resubscribing picks up your synced copy where you left off.

What happens to my bank connections?

They are disconnected when AceMoney Cloud ends. Reconnect them from Bank feeds if you resubscribe.

Troubleshooting

My renewal failed and I want to fix it before the 15 days run out. Go to Managing or cancelling your subscription and update your card.

I resubscribed after more than 12 months and my synced copy is gone. That is expected — the synced copy is deleted 12 months after a subscription ends. Anything already on your own devices was never affected.
